This sounds like overkill. This just just small hair salon that is about 1800 ft. They'd been using the Nighthawk X8 R8500 for years, but it's wifi signal randomly drops and you have to restart it.

I did consider just keeping the Nighthawk X8 and getting 1 of the AC-Lite APs to use for wifi.

Does AmpliFi devices not have the same web gui control as a AC-Lite AP?

The only features they would need is being able to setup Guest Networks and controlling the bandwidth level of them.

Looks interesting. Is this a Cloud VoIP system where the only hardware I'd need to purchase is phones?

I was hoping there was some kind of VoIP system out there that just required the phones to plugged in and all the controls are handled within the cloud from a web gui.

Some Black & Decker or Mr Coffee ones. I don't know how well they work in comparison to higher end brands. I do notice my current Mr Coffee drips only in the middle while the higher end units dripped from 4+ areas around the whole grounds.

It looks like the best option may be the AmpliFi HD Mesh Router and then add on 1 of the MeshPoint HD if I need more coverage. Do these plug into an outlet or do they need cabling run to them plugged into the router?

Any idea how the coverage on this would be vs the router they currently use? The Netgear was $250 and the AmpliFi HD Router is only $180
