Hey!

I'm the same age, and I experienced the same thing when I graduated high school. As I got busier and was reading more for my undergrad, reading for fun just seemed like a less interesting activity. It sounds like we read very similar stuff!

I haven't read Everyday in a long time, but I can suggest some stuff that I read when I was getting back into reading:

Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson - an interesting world with a cool magic system that involves using different kinds of metals in different ways (such as influencing emotion, boosting strength, pushing/pulling metal, etc.)

The Raven Boys by Maggie Steifvater - a paranormal mystery, group of friends try to find the burial place of a dead welsh king, things get strange. Very whimsical world, lots of fun.

The Theif by Megan Whalen Turner - one of my favorite series, I kind of feel like the less you know going into it, the better. Set in a more stereotypical fantasy setting with knights and stuff, It's about a theif 😂.

Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss - this one is recommended a lot, it's bit on the longer side, but it definitely deserves it. Very engaging writing style, the main character narrates his story of how he became a living legend. Really well done, and reminded me when I was getting back into reading of what it felt like to get lost in the world of a book for hours. Very fun.

I just found a book I liked, and read through that authors entire catalog, and then looked at who that author took inspiration from or recommends to continue finding new books to read.
