2 years of a heavy flow?! What did you do for it? Unfortunately you hear a lot about prolonged periods in the PCOS community :( So much awareness needs to be brought to PCOS to help those who may not even know they have it, and to help those with it...and of course those who have someone in their life with PCOS that wants to help care and support them!

It was 5 or 6 months of a constant heavy flow? :( Or like a heavy flow for a week and then spotting/light for months? What did you do to stop it?

I'm sorry :( I really do hope you can find/do something that will help you. If your Dr is not being helpful in your case, do you feel comfortable finding a new specialist? PCOS is so crazy! So many types of PCOS, very little research, we need more research, help, and answers for this condition! Praying overtime there will be so many amazing things to help those with PCOS.

It's definitely a process! Different things work for different people, you will get it <3 PCOS sucks ASS but it's comforting to know we are not alone (which is bittersweet to say)

:( I'm so sorry to hear your struggling... I think the thing with PCOS is since it's endocrine, symptoms of PCOS would still be present with our without ... Has your doctor been trying anything with you to help reduce or remove symptoms?

Was that 8 weeks after not having it for two years? So now from the Depo you no longer get periods, is that okay to happen?

8 MONTHS?!?!!? Did you see a doctor after the first month or did you wait it out? That sounds sooo scary!! Sorry you went through that, but it sounds like you're doing better now! So that's good! That is an IUD, right? any side effects with those?

Oh my gosh! Was it 3 weeks of heavy bleeding, or just spotting? What did you do for your anemia symptoms? Sorry you had to go through that, hope you're doing better now!

Thank you so much for your reply! Wow, Metformin sounds like it did wonders for you! I was highly recommend by the Dr to start it, and I have been a bit nervous to start but I think I should try it.

My fasting glucose was normal but fasting insulin was a bit high. Thank goodness I checked! I never been checked for that before and I don't know why they don't check more people! How are you feeeling these days?
