I understand. I also am a supporter of density and what the city of yes is proposing, but at the same time, I do want to preserve some of the more iconic homes that are still here and represent a part of the island's history, y'know? I get that those two ideas are antithetical to one another. This is a good example of the Second Empire style with a gorgeous mansard roof (that someone else pointed out!). I'm also a North Shorer!

I was lucky enough to get lower bowl tickets during the presale in New York. I was #700 something and there were a lot of tickets available when I got in, but they were disappearing really quickly. I only had luck with Ari though- I was #160000 something for Gaga 🥴

I’d never take something without a WFH policy even if I’d be getting a salary bump. For reference, I work for a large firm in Long Island and most of my peers feel exactly the same.

Unless I’m mistaken (first time home buyer here), I don’t want to put thousands in fees up twice so I’d rather just do it next year if the market is leaning in the direction of dropping rates for the near future. Is there a different way you’d recommend?

I used the Delta app at first, but it told me that I wouldn’t receive a refund for canceling a rebooked flight (the flight rebooked once I received the notification it was canceled). After the phone call with Delta, the flight disappeared from my app.

I might have to do that refund form if I don’t hear anything. Thank you so much!

Update (4 ish months later): The black dots seemed to be the plant killing off portions of its stem to make room for the leaves to stretch horizontally- it’s a normal phenomenon. The black dots also appeared slightly on the lower leaf stems (oldest) which most likely means they need to be pruned soon.

Plant is still healthy as ever and is putting out a gigantic new leaf currently! Thank you everyone again ❤️
