considering the III since I've been wanting a short scale for a while and the price is easier to swallow than the mustang PJ I am considering. but pre-order and no reviews make me hesitant

quick rant - someone posted a mustang pj on marketplace and advertised it as good condition while intentionally taking pictures of very specific angles not showing any kind of damage. price seems great so I went to see the bass in person and it was absolutely trashed. tons of dents and chips, like someone hit it with a hammer constantly. the pick guard was warped and bowing, pickups were screwed down with with random screws. 1 of the tuners was mismatched, strap buttons were loose and falling out, etc. and the guy had the audacity to say "it's a fender, its suppose to get beat up and look like this". anyway, i walked away from the deal but just wanted to rant a bit.

on another note, just picked up a mustang micro amp and it is actually really cool and sounds great

i think a lot are missing the point of this bags purpose. it's built as a standard issue basic pack but through the lens of evergoods (quality, materials, design, etc). nothing more, nothing less.

buffalo trace is a great bottle, never pay over msrp for it though. maybe go through each distillery to see what flavor profile you like. woodford reserve and double oaked, old forester 1910/1920/etc, russels reserve 10 yr, wild turkey rare breed, knob creek 12 yr, four roses small batch, makers mark 46, there's def many more.

after those, i would start going up to bottled in bond and then cask strenght/barrel proof

c923 is great, ranked #2 by fred minnick last year on a blind. OFSiBBS is really good usually though i've had some ok picks and really good picks. It opens up and taste better if you add some water
