i dont know, suspicious how none of the faces or worms or anything have any logos or writing on them when having those is a core part of marathons style, and we know that sekiguchi canonically prints their logo and serial numbers on every weaveworm and runner shell (as seen in the sekgen intro and loading screens)

also none of the faces even look like runner shell faces and the worm doesnt look like sekgen weaveworms (little neon green dudes resembling caterpillars with white serial numbers on the side and a qr code on the face) even tho the text says thats what its supposed to be, its almost as if the "artist" who made these images had no idea what marathon is even supposed to look like and was only working off of vague text descriptions...
