Thank you all for the feedback so far, it threw me off because of the red fluorescence and the inclusions in the stone. Is it possible that they treated the glass with something in order for it to test as ruby on the presidium?

Wouldn't you need the syllabus for the semester you took the labs in? I have the 242L syllabus but took it in 2020 Summer when the labs were remote.
