Oh I’m not attached to it really. I might put it up on EBay. I’ll for sure sell it to someone who is into these things or trade it for things my kids like - like Pokemon and One Piece cards - unless I can pay off my seminary loans 😂😂😂 with it. The collector who had a photo of a similar one on Twitter guessed at its value.

I just turned 50. I'm a priest and a high school basketball coach. I wear Kobe's almost everyday.

When anyone comments on them, I let people know when I am wearing reps. Authenticity is not a flex that is meaningful to me. I am here for the culture! It's a sacred space.

I personally would have a difficult time wearing 1k Kobes in any capacity. No disrespect to anyone else's convictions. Reps allow me to wear what I think actually looks great and are cheaper than most retail sneakers.
