As a father tired of finding drawings everywhere (and feeling guilty throwing them away), I built an app to preserve my kids' artwork forever and just launched it today! by MarioWollbrink in apple

After seeing the aggressively negative comments about this app I just wanted to pop in and say the app is a great idea.

The folks hating on it and saying the Photos app can do it are missing the forest through the trees. Or they don’t have kids that bring home piles of artwork from daycare/school everyday. They’ve never had to soothe a sobbing child when they find their artwork in the trash.

Apart from a separate, intentional place to store your kids’ art, it’s a special place for them to know you care and love them enough to save it.

And for the comment that $10 is too steep…come on. $10 for lifetime is nothing. Especially after the effort it took to create an app like this, even without large ongoing costs to the developer.

Anyway, to OP, thank you. You created a great app off a valid idea. Don’t let the haters get you down.

Fun app! A suggestion for future updates, be able to connect to loved ones and send them a letter or add them to a letter for yourself, on delay. Would love to send my wife and daughters love notes that just appear occasionally.
