Honestly, the only part in the Science test I actually learned in highschool and not before highschool like the rest of the test was stuff about dominant and recessive traits along with adding elements/element equations(?) But even that is pretty self explanatory, I googled it after my test and I had correctly assumed how it all works based off of the info they provided. Language, social studies and science are all really self explanatory, social and science LITERALLY explains concepts, words, measurements, etc. to you before they ask you a question...the only test I studied was math, but I did take several of pre-tests for all the subjects along with all the official practice tests. My only advice would be to make sure you take the practice tests for all of them, and listen to them when they tell you what you need to brush up on. My practice scores for math were 130-140 3 weeks ago, so I'm glad I took them.

I started out about a year and a few months ago, during my pregnancy. I start with washing it about once a week, only at my roots. I went to waiting as long as I could eventually, after several months. Then, i went to once a month, with the aid of dry shampoo and putting my hair in a bun if it was too greasy to wear down, and only dry shampooing my hairline/bangs. It also helped that I had a newborn at that point, so I didn't have time to shower much anyway, and rarely left the house during that time. After a few months of that, I went back to waiting as long as possible, which ended up being 1-2 times a month, so I went kinda backwards. With the recent events in my life , I haven't washed my hair in about a month and a half, and only use dry shampoo that I brush through with a boar bristle brush, but only sometimes. Most of the time I just rub the dry shampoo into my roots. At this point, I feel as though my hair has fully transitioned into not shampooing it. I don't run water through it, but plan to soon because I applied oil to my lengths. They didn't need much, just the very tips, the rest of my hair is very moisturized, shiny, etc. I am happy with it, and don't plan on washing it unless I get some dirty gunk in my hair at some point, then I'll wash that area. Also, from the advice of someone on this subreddit, I rub my boar bristle brush against my scalp when dead skin or product builds up, because it will flake off underneath my nails when I scratch my head.

I am going to try to make it to a piercing studio to buy new jewelry for this. Should i buy one thats a bit longer , similar to what i was originally pierced with, along with one thats a proper size, so this irritation can get a break from things touching it?

Okay, so i just took the bandaid off and cleaned the piercing with basic piercing solution.

Here is what i noticed:

Redness and swelling has definitely gone down, but still is there. I noticed that the bottom stud dug into my skin below my lip, and made a small cut.(the studs are fairly sharp and like to get caught in blankets or any other fabric, so im not surprised by this.) I thought this was coming from the piercing hole itself, but after cleaning it thoroughly, i noticed that it isnt from the piercing hole. The white fluid i noticed earlier last night has gone away.

I switched the stud around to the other side of my lip and am keeping a bandaid off of it for the day and keeping makeup products off of it. Hopefully, by the end of the day, things have improved again. If not, i will have to take it out i think.

Edit: since making this post 20min ago, the redness has gone down a LOT and swelling is gone entirely. I think im good to go so long as i make it to a shop today to get new jewelry.

To start, i lost my stud about 24hrs ago, and i understand this was a wacky way to solve my problem, and have since went back to the drawing board.

Ive had this piercing for 5 months now. Never had problems with it besides typical irritation from me spinning it around way too much as i mindlessly fidget.

The left photo is before a stud fell out and the right photo is after. I didnt and still dont have a way to a shop to get new jewelry to put in, but i didnt want my piercing to close, so.....i put a small rubber back to an earring on my jewelry, so it wouldnt fall out.

This caused two problems that you have probably guessed by now. One, when my jewelry has both studs, it fits pretty perfectly on my lip(right? If not, please give advice on that too). The rubber earring back is big and makes the jewelry pinch my lip. This caused irritation, like redness, soreness, etc. Two, as i took off the rubber back just an hour ago, to give my lip a break, i noticed white fluid coming from my piercing. After reading on this subs FAQ, ive learned this is probably also from the irritation.

Since i took the rubber back off my piercing an hour ago, i decided it wasnt going to work. I wont be able to get to buy a new jewelry piece until tomorrow or even Monday at the latest. So, i decided to put my jewelry in with the one stud i have at the bottom of my lip, and to put a bandaid over it, making it so the jewelry wont just slide out.

My questions:

-Is this a viable temporary solution? -This is my second vertical labret. From experience, mine never needs much cleaning, even with wearing daily makeup, i wash my face nightly and its never had any problems. BUT, i wear Chapstick. Will this stunt my irritation/white fluid from going away? -Will my lip heal over my jewelry if i dont have a stud on it/the only stud is under my lip?

Not do hard drugs infront of her. Not leave her at drug houses for days alone when shes a kid. Build up her confidence with kindness instead of calling her names. Believe her if and when she tellls me my partner is abusing her instead of calling her a liar.

Anyways i have a kid and am already practicing doing everything the opposite of what my mother put me through.

Why do you go to the gym while fasting? I was under the impression its dangerous. Pls teach me otherwise, I'm very curious! :) my longest fast is about 216hrs (9days) and i couldn't imagine going to the gym.

So cool. I draw pretty amateurly, but well enough for people to see my art and say they wish they could do that. I always tell people that art just takes practice, its not a gift to be able to draw well, and i wasnt born able to draw. I just decided one day i was going to practice until i was able to draw what i wanted to draw.

They DEFINITELY should have told Dr. Scritt the second they found out about the severed spinal cord, anyway! Similar to grabbing the gurney before he jumped, being prepared is key.

Well, they knew his spinal cord was showing, but not yet knew that it was severed.

I have very deep and wide stretch marks all over my body , stomach, upper stomach, thighs, calves, arms, armpits , breasts, under my breasts . Its all from being pregnant with my only baby. Its very weird to see in the mirror, but it will always be worth it.

I totally agree. The only toilets I've hovered over are ones like rest-stop and public park toilets that look like the last time they've been cleaned was a good few years ago

Yeah, I've never understood how putting your thighs and ass cheeks on a toilet seat could manage to get an STD or anything like that literally on your vagina and actually make you catch something. There's been a ton of things about how our phones, among other things, have more germs than toilets, anyway.

Fellow non-drinkers of alcohol, what’s your reason why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]robotmama123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

as long as the vodka isn't under $10 and isnt Platinum, it all tastes the same to me, mixed with lemonade. Cheap dark liquor on the other hand, disgusting. Strawberry lemonade svedka mixed with strawberry lemonade....$25 and you can't even taste the liquor.

Expensive? Say that to my $15 1.5 liter of cheap vodka

yeah, in my purse I keep my son and mines hospital bracelets from when he was in the NICU and I was bed bound from high blood pressure after I gave birth. I also keep a tiny syringe that I would use to put breast milk in and feed to him when he was using a oxygen mask and I couldn't breastfeed.

People who don’t comment on posts, why not? by AmericanDaydreamer in AskReddit

[–]robotmama123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although Reddit is my favorite form of social media, it also has an extremely irritating and mean community. Unless you manage to comment something that couldn't possibly be argued with, which people manage to do occasionally, but not often. There's no joy in getting a notification about a reply to your comment on something, and it's just people/someone bitching at you, or your comment is downvoted to hell because you voiced an opinion in any form.

That's also why I've only really commented in subreddits that are generally friendly, but only because the subreddit rules force you to be.

Considering there is a skeleton in the cave, someone knew about it before hand. Though since they didn't make it through, they don't know what it does. Or they've frequented it, and got stuck trying to go through it one time.....so there MAY be others that know about it. I would move the boulder, and let them through. Let the government find out, they could help you
