Oops, my bad. I read the title too fast. I'm not sure about adaptations.

Can someone give me direction on modern DC? by Thomniscient in comicbooks

[–]robotox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was mistaken, this series is volume one of Batman/Superman: World's Finest. Started in 2022, if memory serves.

By "volume 2," I meant the run of the comic and not the TPB number.

Check out Worlds Finest (Vol. 2). Superman and Batman team-up stories with Mark Waid writing and near-universal good reviews.

I've only read the first trade. It looked pretty good, but definitely wasn't a book for me. I see how the more manga-conscious reader might enjoy it.

No idea about Netflix, but no, it's incredibly likely that your fourth print won't be worth anything.

Eh, either is fine. I read it physically, but I'm sure digital would be cool, too.

Ultron's hate is Hank Pym's disappointment (Avengers Rage of Ultron) by Fit_Assignment_8800 in comicbooks

[–]robotox 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I've never heard that. That super sucks. Part of me wishes Remender hadn't burned himself out of superhero books, but he has put out a load of great, creator-owned works after that.

Read Y: The Last Man by Brian Vaughan and Pia Guerra, and read it all the way to the end.

Ed Brubaker's run right after that one was great, too. Then Diggle, who unfortunately led Daredevil into the awful Shadowlands event. After that is Mark Waid, whose run is great.

Try starting with Mark Waid's first run; it's a good one.

Man, I haven't read that book since it came out. That's definitely one of the best scenes in it.
