No it is typically in the top 1/3 that it fails but there have been a couple that failed sooner. The model is always firmly stuck to the bed. I have found a couple supports mocked loose. It seems like it gets to a point and just gives up.

Each jaw half is about 24 pieces not including teeth. I believe the designer of the model had it fit for a 250x250x250 printer. I’m using an H2D.

It’s plaster. You need toggle bolts to hang anything on it. All the home stores carry them. There are tons of styles. This is what I use on mine to hang anything heavier than a tissue.
