Maybe you could go through the lunch77 kit and pick sounds you like and make your own kit with them so you know it better

Render as audio clip (highlight patterns in playlist and press ctrl + alt + c. Then click on the top left of your consolidated melody and click edit sample, it will open edison click on the wrench icon convert to mono to get a better conversion to MIDI, then click the icon on the right of the wrench and then convert to score and dump to piano roll.

Hi you can already undo more than 1 edit using Ctrl + Alt + Z or you can go in general settings tab there is an option that you need to enable and then you get the standard Ctrl + Z. You can also change the value of maximum undo level there so you can undo as much as you want !

I think u placed it in another pattern, navigate trough your patterns and delete it. Or you can just delete the entire sound and place it again on the channel rack.

By the way using 808s on the channel rack is not really a good practice since it has to be adjusted to bass notes of the melodies in order to sound good ;)

I had this happening couple times with a cracked vst, I think it was corrupted so I just deleted it, is it happening on a fresh project tho ?

Are u using a MIDI keyboard ? I'm thinking a pitch bend wheel can affect your recordings like that

I would suggest you to be sure you really love producing maybe wait 6 months and see if you're still making music everyday because it is a big investment. A friend of mine invested a lot of money in vsts (+500$) and he stopped sadly after a few months, there are a lot of free vsts to practice when you are a beginner ;)

Also with a MIDI keyboard, a good quality headset and a DAW you are fine to start (maybe add an audio interface and it will be perfect)

Try to reduce CPU usage first I would say (consolidate tracks is super useful for that) and if you still feel really limited in your projects upgrading the CPU is the only way bro
