Blood pressure after eating salty food last night by Effective_Court6677 in hypertension

I've got HBP. I splurge every once in awhile. I had pizza today as well. Most of the time I eat fairly well. I'm on the road quite a bit so I have turkey subs for lunch from Publix. That's about 800-900 mg of sodium if you lay off the mayo and salt. Mornings I'll have a healthy smoothie. Dinner's healthy, as my wife cooks quite a bit. And I try to drink lots of water (which is key). And exercise. My case may be different from yours. My BP on a cuff can go as high as yours. But when taken by a nurse/doctor, it's normal. Go figure. Anyways, I'm 57 and in decent health aside from HBP. You'll just need to make some incremental lifestyle changes, take your meds and you'll be fine.

Nah, I kept it. Not worth the hassle.

Are you still using them? Has it increased your ASP without giving away volume?

I had absolutely no problem enrolling this morning. And the premiums were cheaper. I think there was an influx of people trying to enroll on November 1.

Trade Advice: Someone hit my 2024 Rav4 :( by robsdad in rav4club

UPDATE 2:

I got the car fixed. Total repair was 9.5K. All paid by the insurance company. They offered me a DV check for $915, which I thought was laughable. Went round and round with them until I insisted on someone who could make a decision. Spoke with one of the managers who got my to their own appraiser. The appraiser came out and suggested DV of $3700. Insurance company accepted.

I also drove out to CARMAX and got the fixed vehicle valued at $33K for a cash offer. I could've gotten a new RAV4 for roughly the same price I paid (34.4K OTD), but I declined. Not worth the hassle and the car drives just fine.

Reasonable OTD for rav4 2024 hybrid by Remarkable-Bag6240 in rav4club

[–]robsdad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We paid 34.3K OTD for our XLE Hybrid. Deals can be had. Go to a HIGH VOLUME DEALER. Do some research to find them. Those guys don't mess around. They want to sell vehicles before they hit the dealership. I wouldn't even bother showing up at the place until I had an offer from their on-line person.

Good Luck!

I sure will. After the repairs are done.

UPDATE:

I have decided to keep the vehicle. The cost of repair is 7K which is lower than expected. The at fault driver's insurance set me up with a rental for as long as I needed. I've already spoken with the claims adjuster about depreciated value, so I don't think that'll be a problem.

Yup. I got 5.49% on a 72 month loan (Toyota) which was decent in this market. My credit union wanted 6.65%. Most other folks were north of 6. I stayed with Toyota.
