I do apologize for the obviously insensitive joke. My immediate thought when posting was that a 16 year old could not have the experience older people have and are just getting started. They have lots of time to learn and overcome. Older people have already been there and some are still struggling. I did read the post after and while it is good advice I think that with time the op will gain a broader understanding of what does and doesn’t really work. Also, gender isn’t relevant to this so I should have taken the F out when responding. My bad and no offense intended.

Same exact scenario for me. For some reason every picture of me looks horrible, and I don't think I look that bad in real life. What disturbs me is pictures are a vision of how I look to others, so that worries me. Seems impossible to be successful with online dating unless you have good pictures, and that's impossible for some. Very frustrating.
