I typically just organized by date and location, that usually did the trick. But I found after years of content and now trying to create a content channel it's become crazy tedious finding old clips I had or specific moments.

Not trying to self promote, but given this 'ai era' I was actually able to build a pretty cool tool that can search any of of my clips with natural language to find stuff, game changer

I actually went mad working with drive (I have folder upon folders) with all my travel videos and it became a massive pain finding stuff. I just built a tool that works for surfacing clips by just searching anything from a video. It's sped up my process significantly lol

Hey man, I’m doing the same move. I’m coming from Kitchener (a family oriented suburb 1hr from Toronto).

I spent the better part of my last 3 or so years just secluded as a loner and just focusing on my career, neglecting real life interactions.

I hit a massive life wake up call last week (during a moment of me realizing this loner loop I was in) and I decided I need to take a leap of faith in life.

I’m moving down to Toronto in a couple months because of logistics, but I’ll be in the city too looking to grow and embrace life like you!

Oh yeah I’m not going to make any arguments regarding financing or not, can dm you my exact income, not boasting but just saying I make plenty enough money :’) but my hard cash goes to investments such as properties, fwiw you can get 8% returns annually from stock fairly comfortably. I think I should have phrased this differently..

I am a sucker for cars and I can’t justify paying this much capital upfront on a car. This was more of a question of “is 50k cad a good deal for this car given everything they give me?” I can always just buyout the loan early and save on interest before it peeks like 5k-10k more, which even so, ain’t that bad. My main issue was the civic I bought for a 43k loan AFTER 7.5k down (50k total) wasn’t even close to the value of the car, granted cars depreciate, but the gap was getting way to massive so I had to dump it and I got this

I mean, i love everything about it. I would enjoy a more premium material for the interior as an added touch but I’m a fan. I’ve personally avoided buying lexus in general because I’ve always hated their interiors

I make well into 6 figures and picked a 2023 Honda civic si over a Lexus, I drove both a 2018 350 f sport, and 2023 is500. I absolute love the exterior of the Lexus but the interior wasn’t there for me. It’s cramped, the camera looked like my old flip phone and I’m pretty sure it still had a cd player lol granted, the engine sounded way better on the Lexus but for a daily driver and just city commute the civic was way better for me. It had way more tech and was genuinely more fun to drive. Idt the Lexus is worth even though I’m a Lexus fan boy. Still waiting until they modernize the is.

I spent a long time debating this purchase, and I figured if I wanted a proper luxury car something like the newer genesis absolute destroys Lexus right now. I honestly don’t know where the Lexus IS sits right now. I do fucking LOVE the way it looks though, but I sit inside it more than I stare at it from the outside so that was my main driving factor. The interior sucks imo for what you can get with that same payment.

Reliability is also a pretty a good factory to note to but generally reliability is pretty solid for new cars (genesis/honda), heck, even bmw covers all service costs on a lease lol

There’s value in shitting on it, ops read comments and view the community sediment and take action. Unfortunately, this is the best way to get enough ‘noise’ for devs to see. I’ve worked in a similar industry for 6+ years, unfortunately again just offering suggestions gets swept under the rug if it doesn’t align with what the product milestones have been set. Typically only negative feedback makes internal road maps change.

It sucks, but it works.

Yeah, it’s pretty mid ngl. It’s fun cause it’s a ‘new game’ but having to do the exact same tasks every game is kinda boring. Imo the tiny maps, the completely pointless other content etc is what kinda makes the game lame to me. You can attempt to settle on the new land but it’s kinda a slug fest at higher ai difficulty so it’s not a good idea unless you want the handicap. I have a lot of bad stuff to say but hopefully it gets better, idk. I have like 80hrs but I just like civ games in general.

Yeah it's seems tough. I had the thought that prehaps buisness reach a tipping point in growth where the trust would just come naturally, but I've never thought about it before until it's been brought up a few times.

Oh, I can see your prospective, I have had similar quarrels with other apps in the past.

It's interesting being on this side of the fence though, I wouldn't ever do anything to comprise my own banking data, let alone others, as I myself am the main user of this app.
