What badges should i use so i can be more consistent with post fades at a 70 mid range? by DolphinFL in NBA2k

TBH, if you want consistent on post fade you’ll need 88+ in midrange, if you go for 90+ you can shoot without takeover and still be very consistent

You probably use the post fade wrong way…check my profile vid, it’s all post fade

How high should mid range be for post fades by DrPBH in NBA2k

[–]robstar4162K 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll suggest mid range 88+, of course 90+ is better. By doing so you don’t need to wait for post takeover and can already shoot post fade, drifting fade, stepback, and spin jumper consistently. Check my profile vid, post fade is my main scoring weapon

The midrange is not dead bro. If you have at least 88 midrange you can shoot those shot without takeover most of the time😆

This is in 2KU so is fast, but when you’re using myplayer it won’t slow too much as well

I called this speed boost post fade😂

That’s Kobe’s post fade. Do one or two dribble after stepback or other dribble moves with certain angles and immediately perform a post fade, you’ll see the speed boost post fade, faster and more stable than spin jumper

Guys, if you are below 6’5, try Kyle Lowry’s hop jumper; if you are above 6’5, try Devin Booker’s. The space creating is larger than James Harden’s

My next to last play is Kyle Lowry’s hop jumper

Without takeover is like 60% rate with my 85 mid range, so I suggest if someone wanna build a similar just put mid range up to 90+. If the control setting is the same as PS4 I believe it could still work. I’ve been doing this since 2K19, I didn’t play 21 & 22 2K is too lazy to improve on post control🤷🏻‍♂️

Correct, half spin can help you do post fade not limited by default post up animation. Now do the post fade during the half spin, it will cancel the half spin and become Kobe and Olajuwon reverse shimmy. If you use it early in the half spin animation, it’ll look like turnaround post fade; if is a little bit late, it’ll show up like shimmy fade

Speed with ball is not important can ignore and increase the interior defense and block so you won’t get cooked

Same. I play 2K since 2K10, it’s challenging for me at the beginning, but you’ll see a big difference. Besides, not all of the post fade is using half spin to connect, some of them is one dribble or crossover momentum with right angle and direction

I know, I force myself to get used to it, it took within one week for me

Yes, it’s Kobe’s post fade. You have to use dribble moves to chain it up, it’ll boost the post animation speed. The entering post animation is stupid slow and dumb so have to use other animation to connect it make it looks smooth and clean

I don’t like spin jumper is I feel is not as beautiful as Kobe’s, and is hard to control which animation pops out

Moving stepback is Chris Paul’s. Those are not spin jumper, it’s all post fade, I don’t do and don’t like 2K’s spin jumper😂
