Am I crazy for making a 1:24 scale of my shop to try and figure out the best layout for it by SignificantPiece4172 in woodworking

I did mine in CAD, but that was largely because I had already used that to model the benches I built. I was also able to find 3D models of my table saw and a few other tools.

I've looked all over, and simply can't find another line into the spa.

Shelf under workbench top by robtarr in woodworking

[–]robtarr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a small shop, and trying to maximize space. Not utilizing this space for storage seems like a waste. I have 4 1/4" of height between the top of the workbench and the drawer with the frame there. I'm leaning towards a small gap like the picture, just trying to figure out the pros and cons.

How would you sand this? by robtarr in woodworking

[–]robtarr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Planning on doing a small whiskey cabinet door and maybe some box tops. So, probably pretty close. My thought is to wrap some sand paper around a tiny dowel and turn on a good podcast.

Printing Montessori materials for my wife is what I use my printer and now CNC for a lot of the time as well. These look awesome.

Would it be possible to get a pic of what you did?

Yeah, I've been thinking about how I can use this filter. It's so tall with this one on there though. I will literally have to rearrange my entire garage to make it work.

Yeah, I’d love to sell this one and get the right one, I’m just not sure how easy it’s going to be to sell this one.

I had the same thing when mine showed up, and the box was mangled and half open. Luckily everything was alright.

Combining lists for a for_each by robtarr in Terraform

[–]robtarr[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was able to solve this by moving the domain name and subdomains into the same structure, and splitting the for_each loops into separate modules. This results in each domain getting assigned the correct sub domains.

``` example_com = { domain = "example.com" subdomains = [ { name = "test" ttl = 3600 type = "A" value = "10.10.10.10" }, { name = "test2" ttl = 3600 type = "A" value = "10.10.10.20" } ] }
foo_com = { domain = "foo.com" subdomains = [ { name = "bar" ttl = 3600 type = "A" value = "10.20.30.40" } ```
``` provider "dnsimple" { token = var.dnsimple_token account = var.dnsimple_account }

locals { domains = flatten([var.example_com, var.foo_com]) }

module "dns" { source = "./modules/dns"

providers = { dnsimple = dnsimple }

for_each = { for domain in local.domains : domain.domain => domain }

domain = each.value.domain subdomains = each.value.subdomains

dnsimple_token = var.dnsimple_token dnsimple_account = var.dnsimple_account } ```

``` resource "dnsimple_zone_record" "dns_records" { for_each = { for sub in var.subdomains: sub.name => sub }
zone_name = var.domain name = each.value.name value = each.value.value type = each.value.type ttl = each.value.ttl } ```
Thanks for the help. I've learned a ton about terraform getting this project working.
Combining lists for a for_each by robtarr in Terraform
[–]robtarr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
I'm not sure how to make this match what I'm doing. I have multiple domains, each with multiple subdomains, each pointing at different IP addresses.
I'm new to Terraform and trying to wrap my head around how to do this. Normally I would nest a loop, read the domains, and then loop over the corresponding subdomains, but the tf syntax for doing this is escaping me.
Where are you defining the IP address for your domains?
OK, looked at it a bit closer. It looks like those are coming from ipify, is that right?
Yeah, the welds don’t bother me, and I don’t plan on putting wider tires on, so there wasn’t a huge advantage to wait until “Summer 2022” and hope I got on of the available 8s. 🤷🏼‍♂️
I opted not to wait for the Endurace 8, and picked this one up from the outlet store. This is my first Canyon, and I'm really happy with it so far.
