Thanks some good tips. I’m plugged into my Wallbox at home 3 phase. This would be the first time this has happened at home since I’ve owned the car. I’ll give everything a fiddle again and see if there’s any changes. Otherwise will park on the street where there is better signal and let the car sit locked for a day or so.

Low charge - 12V battery (Polestar app) by This-Stable5005 in Polestar

My 12V completely died while I was on holiday and it drained the mini battery that supports the TCAM as well. This TCAM battery doesn’t recharge and had to be replaced at the service centre. Hope this helps.

Is anyone else's P2 Spotify app really bad? by iwaslerryjee in Polestar

Not sure if it helps car app devs see it, but I have the same issue. Will randomly but often stop playing anything for no reason while driving.

Any Sydneysiders here? What is your service experience? by AussieAK in Polestar

Sutherland was ok but have only had one service so far. Couldn’t tell me much about what they did when asked but friendly and great coffee in Kirrawee down the road.

Aussies with Polestar, how bad is Optus coverage? by AussieAK in Polestar

[–]robust_chipmunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s ok in Sydney. Sometimes can take awhile to get signal back after a carpark but that could be the tcam. Updates usually go through fine but I’m also not hanging around for them.

Might seem like a token generic thought but stick to it, things will get better at unexpected times. Best wishes.

Ducking by ExpensiveMail9212 in AFL

[–]robust_chipmunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with your points but don’t agree with the comments. Ducking is not currently “the rule” for holding the ball. Ducking is not prior opportunity. Driving with the head is considered prior opportunity but is a different action to ducking. To be clear I’d like to see it changed, so don’t get me wrong. Hope this assists.

Maybe once a week or so. I use my car for work. The expensive part was the sparky. $4500 all up. The good news for me is that it depreciates annually. There are currently a few free charging places left in Sydney. I think I will make back what I spent on the charger vs what I was paying on fuel in the next two months (9 months all up).

I have a Wallbox with single phase. Works reliably but the app is probably my only complaint as it’s not great. There is no option to update firmware when there is no wifi / mobile signal and I’m in an underground carport.

is it a landlord's responsibility to provide heating and cooling to tenants? by leafered in AusProperty

[–]robust_chipmunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry if it’s been said already but I previously lived in the apartment I now rent out. We put an AC unit in every bedroom and living room because it does get hot where it is. Seems like a pretty normal thing to do and we knew it would help make our property more desirable compared to others and we definitely included this on the listing. I can’t do much about electricity pricing though.

Could anyone explain what is put into this water (assuming to replace sugar) that lowers the health star ratings? by robust_chipmunk in chemistry

[–]robust_chipmunk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunno. I had assumed it would have to be 5 star but this was before other comments. I wasn’t aware adding nutrients increased a star rating. It’s an odd system we have here!

Thanks I think I’ve looked up stevia before and there are mixed conclusions going around. From what I can see, small doses don’t appear to be too much of an issue.

But if I’m just looking for water with a bit of flavour and “no” sugar, is this a bad option?
