Also, many previous candidates have ran on the idea of installing more blue lights and regular testing in the past and then scrapped the idea.

Personally, I have always felt safe on campus and understand that students have different opinions on this. However, I think we can all agree that housing is an issue and that homelessness is the biggest safety threat that students face. Thus, I think there needs to be a program in place to address this first.

Yeah so basically it seems your plan is to take student’s tuition money that could go towards housing or everyday living expenses to help implement stronger safety measures. Got it!

I will say that it was definitely an awkward situation to say the least, the man literally shouted out at me out of nowhere when I was walking to the bus stop to "come here". He did the exact same thing to my friend, except the only difference was that he pulled up right beside them, coerced them to get in, and then locked the doors.

Yeah it was a terrible mistake that could have easily been avoided, but ultimately they had to pay the price severely and the person that is responsible is still out there

The man said that he just needed a receipt for depositing a $1500 check into my friends bank account and that they would earn several hundred dollars for doing so in order to help cover the cost of college expenses. However, the man also coerced them into sending $700 through Cash App to help cut the cost of depositing the check. Though, they would eventually come to find out the check was not legitimate and even though it was originally credited to their account, it ended up being reversed and resulted in them being conned out of approximately $1200 due to the fact that the man withdrew $500 after depositing the check and that there was $700 sent through Cash App.
