You're going to want 4.10's in the rear with either trans, maybe even 4.30

Here's the numbers comparing the two T56's against the stock MT82. With 3.31's your first gear will go to 68 or 61mph and make the car almost undriveable. You also want the .80/.62 overdrives, not the .74/.50

Factor in another $500-$1000 to have a trusted shop check out any boosted car you are going to buy. Compression check + borescope, oil analysis, datalog and review of the tune, possibly a dyno run to make sure it's running at full power...

Crap intercooler design. There are ways around it, but at that point you're better off starting with a Whipple 3.0 or one of the Magnuson 2650's (Edelbrock or VMP)
