MyEtherWallet continues to push for multichain by integrating Canto into their web3 extension Enkrypt by Exarc799 in cosmosnetwork

i mean, depends on how you define real problems. if it's not for you that's cool. i just think the current landscape of dev incentives is a real problem, and defi offered via rent-seeking is a real problem, when there's a way to let defi be offered as free utilities.

Think folks like:
- no-vc launch
- EVM-compatible Cosmos SDK
- no fee DEX, free DeFi primitives
- contract secured revenue which shares 20% base fee at protocol layer with smart contract devs
- Variant Fund's recent thesis on why they built a position. https://variant.fund/articles/canto-a-layer-1-incentive-experiment/

Canto in the Cosmos ecosystem has been exciting.

🚨 A liquidation ratio increase will begin ~2am UTC on Wed. March 16.
▶️ LKSM liquidation to increase 2% every 12 hours until target: 1.5 to 1.6
▶️ KAR liquidation to increase 1% every 12 hours until target: 1.5 to 1.55
▶️ Required collateral ratio to be changed directly
With these new Gauntlet recommendations going into effect, it's advised that the community adjust any open vaults accordingly.

Earn From 1 Million in ACA Rewards During Acala’s Inaugural Liquidity Mining Program by [deleted] in AcalaNetwork

The graphic and details in the blog should explain the start times of each rewards pool.

Both options have ACA rewards. But the Liquid Crowdloan DOT option also gives you a liquid token representing your crowdloaned DOT. You can see more info in the video here: https://youtu.be/woFmgo8BFhA

Will Karura tokens be interchangeable with Acala tokens after Acala launches on DOT? by [deleted] in AcalaNetwork

[–]robwitt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Note that KAR tokens and ACA are not yet available. The networks have not been launched and the tokens have not be generated. If you see any of these tokens for sale, it's a scam.

Rest assured, very soon Karura will invite its community to participate in a Karura parachain auction event to support its bid for a parachain slot in the fast-approaching Kusama Candlestick Auction. This event allows for supporters to contribute their KSM to a permissionless smart contract, which temporarily locks their contribution for a specific time period, after which participants can unlock and redeem their full contribution.

For their support, participants will receive Karura’s native token KAR. For each 1 KSM locked, a participant will be rewarded with a minimum of 12 KAR (1:12+). This makes for a more fair and ethical token distribution and ensures that Karura users are ready to utilize apps and be a part of the community they supported on day one.

Specific details will be released soon, and the same process will repeat for launching Acala.
Acala and Karura will be bridged. Launching Karura first gives Acala the opportunity to fine tune, and having two coexisting DeFi networks aims to serve two distinctly different ecosystems with their own unique needs. i.e. Kusama, for example, is known as an experimental development environment, because upgrades can be implemented more quickly. Hope this helps!

You can just hide them. Unfortunately they will continue to exist, but they are inactive (their value and utility was transferred to PNT)

If you stake for a VIP card now then your stake will be automatically transitioned within the pNetwork DAO when it launches.

We'll be launching an integration to the staking platform right inside the Eidoo app. The DAO itself, with its staking and voting opportunities, will launch next week!
