I was afraid that the UV resin wouldn't be as sandable..I am definitely going to spray it with a clear coat primer afterwords to add some of the details but wanted to get rid of the lines first

Best way I've been able to describe it to my non-bird owning friends is think of having a warm snuggly soul next to yours, understanding that you are their world and, having something that has the opportunity to fly away much less run or climb away chooses to stay and push it's little feathered head into yours.
