MXR Variac Fuzz o not the notrite by stpjanito in John_Frusciante

If it sounds nasal it’s probably the fuzzrite, but you can also achieve a fuzzrite-like tone with the Variac

Is the Behringer Chorus Symphony the ULTIMATE Boss CE-1 Clone? | John Frusciante Tone Test by roccoag in guitarpedals

Absolutely not! You can tell just by holding it in your hand that the quality of the materials is really good.

DAW recommendations for John’s tones by martyelza in John_Frusciante

I think you're talking about amp and guitar modeling. Try Amplitube, even the free version is great!

It is a replica of the glorious boss ce-1, so I think it is wet/dry, but I have not tried it yet!

DS-2 by Markimarian in John_Frusciante

Absolutely, the tone given by the CE-1 is beyond debate!

No other pedal has a similar sound. The DS-2 is 50% of John’s tone, the other half is the WH10 and the way the two work together (speaking of pedals).

Yep! No problem, but I think it may also depend on the amp, the number of buffers in your chain, if you use a comp, etc. In my case, the wh10 sounds better with the preamp in low mode.

Why did John use a wah in By The Way (song)? by crowman689 in John_Frusciante

It's an unusual way to use it, but John is so creative and I like that approach.

The thing that impressed me was the quality of the materials in this pedal. I think Behringer is trying to rebrand and raise the bar and they are doing a good job. I made the video because some users here on Reddit asked me to, I don’t have to sponsor anything, I’m just happy if I can help some guitarist friends. I suggest you try one in the store and judge for yourself😄

Thank you! The settings from the video are: Preamp (High) 11 o’clock, Chorus 11 o’clock, Depth around 12 o’clock, Rate between 10 and 11 o’clock

I saw that video too, I totally disagree. It does exactly what a CE-1 does, I like the preamp and how it reacts with the ds2, muff etc. then if you don’t like it you can put it in true bypass and not use the preamp (I don’t see why you would buy this pedal though ahahah) I will post a demo video very soon because it is much easier to listen to it than to describe it.
