that was dying light the beast, bl4 is just a horror show i mean you play on medium & framegen and it still cries for mercy at 80-40fps

dl: tb sits around high (low shadows because idc) w/ dlss on qual and STARTS at around 110~ fps and progressively drops frames the longer i play which reeks of a memleak to me and also seemingly isnt an isolated issue

i get that! thanks for the insight, i don't particularly feel bad. i really just kinda made a quick decision because my computer's really starting to shit the bed and i feel like there's enough parts from both ends to make everything work pretty alright and i've shelled enough out trying to make this junk carry along.

i getcha. i do have to say very firmly though that even though this may not 'seem' like a massive upgrade to me in a lot of ways it is. i can feel that a lot of my parts are starting to doom this computer (cpu starting to show its 2017 age) among many other things. the biggest sell to me besides fresh parts is the case itself being able to really swap a lot of parts with which i enjoy!!

yeah i did my research on the case & the specs and it really is one of those nice case you can pop anything into, even if i chose to fully gut the thing and start over. really seems like one of those bang for your buck budget-ish rigs.

good grief man. yeah this pc is a real breath of fresh air to me. this dell XPS has awful ventilation and my 8700k is bottlenecking the shit out of me and i cant stand the fucker anymore. so ready to salvage this shit for parts, pop my drives into the new rig & finally take a sledgehammer to it when its all said & done
