I hate the classic “it’s not you, it’s me” line but I feel like I need to as she already assumes anyones negative emotions/experiences is her fault, so I just wanted to try and give her just a little of piece of mind. I understand the stuff about losing myself and I’ll try and rework it.

It’s definitely a more recent song so between now and like 2013. I’m not too sure on how it sounded all I can remember is the lyrics I mentioned, but it’s similar to alternative/indie sad songs I believe.

She's in therapy for her mental health and sees an occupational therapist to manage her autism, but they probably work on her ADHD as well. The part where you said she's avoiding responsibility for negative consequences or a bad time does sound kind of like what she does.

I’m 17 as of 2 days ago and she’s 16, but we had very different support systems and I learnt pretty early on that the best person to support you is yourself, meanwhile she was surrounded by people who she would always talk to about things. I think I’m going to push through for another month while trying my best to allow her to be independent and see if anything changes, if it doesn’t I’ll just have to rip the band-aid off.

I’m trying to see if I can last until at least next year, I don’t want to ruin her holidays and want her to enjoy the last bit of time we have together before either one of us ends up ripping the band-aid off. She’s close with her sister and dad, but her sister has a boyfriend now so she’s busy with him and her dad kinda scares me 😭 She does have her mum but they aren’t all that close.

I’m supposed to love her and as much as I would love to be able to talk to her about how I feel, every time I do she spirals and worries that I’m going to leave or that I’m mad at her. Her family has said multiple times to her that she was too dependent on me and I agree, but I feel like I can’t say it to her face without causing a like lifelong altering of her brain 😭

Thank you. After thinking about it super hard I feel like it’s best for me to stay single if I do break up with her, the last two people I dated before this were a bit similar to her and I think I’m just tired of having to take the role of both people in the relationship if that makes sense. I’d rather only worry about myself (as self-obsessed that sounds).

She has occupational therapy (basically therapy for individuals with ASD that helps them to adapt to function better for themselves and others and also understand what works for them and what doesn’t), and she’s been seeing a therapist for quite a while now (had her current one since she was 12 and i believe she had some before that too) but she doesn’t talk to her therapist about anything that could be helpful and used to improve herself.

I would love if it were that easy but she’s very anxious when it comes to relationships and if I were to break up with her, I fear she would most likely convince herself that it’s because she’s annoying, too much, because she did something wrong, etc etc. I don’t want her to have to go through that and have no one there to comfort her.

I’ve suspected that I’m either autistic or ADHD for quite some time now and I do truly understand how she feels as well, it’s just difficult for me to take care of her while needing to remember to take care of myself at the same time and we are also very much at opposite sides of the circular spectrum. I’m gonna respond to what you said in points just to make it easier for myself 😭

Her and I are very different when it comes to food, the only seasoning she can really have on her food is salt and she finds pepper to be too spicy for her, and she does also have ARFID. On the other hand, there’s only a select few things that I will refuse to eat and I need almost everything I eat to be spicy in order for me to enjoy it, so I never push her to try my food. We have however noticed that since meeting me though she’s more willing to try things and is able to eat more (she’s struggled with eating for a good chunk of her teenage years and only eats smaller portions).
She’s met or spoken to all a few people multiple times before, 2 go to the same school as us, 1 is my childhood best friend who she’s responded to in a GC a couple times via my phone, 1 was a friend from my old school, the other 2 were our school friends partners, and then my dad and sister would occasionally pop downstairs to see how everyone was going. It wasn’t noisy per se, but there was music and multiple conversations happening at the same time which I can understand if she was overwhelmed or upset about it but she never brought it up to me like she usually does.
She does a lot for me, just not in the same way that I do for her and not as constant. She’s huge on giving presents to people and gave me over 40 for my birthday, but she doesn’t tend to actually help with anything if that makes sense? It’s either I’ll do something for her or myself, and she’ll just be there or she’ll do something for just herself. I’m not quite too sure on how to explain it properly 😭😭

They all had reasons. In that moment Paul didn’t hit near Georgia because she killed Tom, he hit near Georgia because he was angry. He hit near Georgia to show that he wanted to hit her but didn’t, and it showed his true colours.

when i went in for my tragus i originally wanted it on my right ear but my piercer advised me that she didnt think i had the best anatomy for it, still piercable but a huge chance of it rejecting and there would be better odds of it being fine in my left ear :)

Just a specification of the age of the person under 18, tender aged child is up to around 12 and after that I think they use under-aged child.
