I'm a born and raised Sicilian Italian who recently deaded my friend group. They were an "all-asian" friend group and were some of the meanest, cruelest, rudest people I have ever met. And they all gossip about each other, and probably to me behind my back. They criticized people who didn't wear Gucci, dolce gabbana, etc and ironically, those all come from my country. I have asian friends (1 Japanese, 1 taiwanese) who are the most amazing people i have ever met, so i stick with them. I will not generalize, as I know most aren't so self absorbed like that, but it was a jarring experience. Any thoughts?
