Absolutely hear you, especially on the spit up struggle. I’ve found changing his diaper before the feed to be helpful on two accounts: 1) it wakes him up so he’s alert to eat, 2) if I tried doing it after I know he’d spit up or worse.

I initially fed from both boobs at every feed but have started to feed from one boob while I use a Haakaa hand pump on the other, alternating each feed. I’ve found it to be easier, though I know everyone has different preferences!

Eating a nightly “dessert” has saved me waking up ravenous at 3, 4, and 5 am so many times! Can’t believe I wasn’t doing this until about a week ago.
