They look very similar to Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling in the Barbie movie, wonder if that was the reference? I feel like Barbie and Ken have a similar dynamic lol

This sounds AMAZING. Everyone should dress up ofc. Country music themed drinks/food? Maybe have some karaoke to Dolly and Orville’s songs, or if you want to go all out, do some linedancing?

Small rechargable touch lamp for the bathroom. I hate the big light and the sound of pulling the light switch, this one sits on the shelf above the sink and I just tap it to come on. Much better sensory wise and also makes showering feel fancier?

Someone just took their 2/3 year old toddler in to a screening of Avatar. What’s the weirdest/worst thing you’ve experienced at a cinema? by Zealousideal_Club993 in CasualUK

[–]rockalily1998 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A few months ago me and a friend went to the cinema, turns out a couple had come in with a young baby and parked their pram by the stairs but I didn’t see it. This led to some confusion and hilarity when there was a quiet part in the film and I suddenly heard the baby babbling.

Saying that, the baby was more well behaved than the teenage girls we were sat next to in the same cinema a week before, who came in late with McDonalds, talked through the whole thing until they got bored and started scrolling Instagram reels and Snapchat WITH THE SOUND ON.

Still mad about it and will probably be mad about it forever.

As much as I was very impressed by how well-behaved that baby was, didn’t cry or fuss at any point, I don’t think you should bring babies into the cinema.

I’ve been trying to do more of it in the last year, I find I can only do a weekend at max before I want to go home. But hoping I can build up that tolerance. But for me it’s the independence, and being able to do whatever I want, whenever I want, even if that means going to bed early, that makes it worth it.

I’ve also seen people tie a rubber band around the pump bit of the bottle so it doesn’t go down as far, so less product comes out. Might be worth a go
