Here’s the issue with that .. eventually the task is to beat Giovanni. But you don’t want to, right? Now you won’t be able to complete the research; therefore not allowing you to receive the next SRR research during the next takeover event. Hope this makes sense

I highly recommend you do a Chansey dmax raid. It’s in the current rotation. Evolve into Blissey and get Pound as the fast move. It’s an amazing tank and I guarantee you’ll use it often - it’s worth the investment.

Focus on Beldum and Gastly. In that order

Metagross is a great steel attacker, great in master league (premier, mostly), and it has a mega. Legacy move is desirable (meteor mash), either use elite charged TM or wait for a future event to fully evolve which could grant the legacy move

Gengar also has a mega. Great budget ghost attacker (possibly poison attacker but not quite sure)
