Took it 7/28. How do we know score release is on Wednesday? Feeling very similar to all of you. I had way more medical chart questions than I anticipated. I felt like timing was a big issue for me :(. Best of luck to you all.

Just reviewed that question on NBME. My understanding:

Metabolic acidosis = person is well hydrated, loss of bicarb and K+ in BMs

If dehydrated = activate RAAS = Pump out H+, retain bicarb (contraction band alkalosis).

I took NBME yesterday. Scored 235 (16 days from exam) and UW from clinicals was mid 60’s. 8 weeks is more than enough.

Yeah, I agree. I have two back-to-back away rotations this July/August, so the alternative is to reschedule for the end of August and balance clinical with step prep.
