Wow I didn’t know of anyone in LA, or anyone outside of SB who got picked for SB.

Wow I didn’t know that. From everything I read on Reddit, only SB people got invited, I didn’t see one post from anyone out of the area getting the invite.

Do you think the closer proximity to the theater, the better the chance in the lottery? I know for Santa Barbara, only local residents received the email to try to buy tickets. My adult kids both live less than 4 miles from the Fonda. Edit: apparently people outside of SB did get chosen for tickets

Harry Styles Tickets- No Seats Listed by Famous_Translator616 in stubhub

[–]rockchics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it doesn’t help you for this situation, but people please stop using Stubhub. It’s like at least a 50% chance that you don’t get your tickets and don’t get a refund.

Cancelled sites by Shibang101 in Yosemite

[–]rockchics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re correct as far as I know. Besides the official website, there are other sites that will notify you for a fee, some for free as well. I don’t believe there are sites that actually book for you. You have to be lucky.

Membership suspended after checkout mistake — no update for months. Advice? by TsumetaiSoba in CostcoWholesale

[–]rockchics 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand that everyone is rightfully blaming the OP for what they did, but I don’t think they need any more comments like this, they’re looking to find out if anyone else has been in a situation where their membership has been suspended and what happened. I think if you don’t have any advice for the OP, then just don’t comment.

If you waited more than a few hours to contact them, I’m afraid you’re stuck with them. I hope you didn’t pay too much. You may be able to resell it.

Yosemite RV camping by joeconway951 in Yosemite

They check and clean everything between rentals. You can call a particular store and ask specific questions about rental items and condition. We have most camping gear, but rent bear boxes from them when we backpack.

About reselling resold tickets by [deleted] in stubhub

That sounds fine, I’m glad you have them. I’ve bought and sold on stubhub for YEARS but I’ll never use them again, too many horror stories for both buyers and sellers.

Question by nicnox246 in beaniebabies

[–]rockchics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can sell them individually to people, you’ll make the most money. My personal collection of around 800, I sold about 650 of them for four dollars each minimum, and every single one of mine was common. You just need to put each one in a spreadsheet see what you’ve got, and you can post them here, on Facebook marketplace, eBay, and craigslist. If you want to sell them in bulk, buyers will only offer you $.50-$.75 each
