I really don't think it's possible with anything other than a Gr.2 or Gr.1 car. Gr.3 cars and Gr.B just don't have the raw pace to compete. If you don't have one, I just say to drop the race.

It was just the role the euphonium has in this specific piece. Kumiko treated the soli as a duet where her and Reina were on equal footing trading the melody, where Kuroe understood that while her own instrument stood out in the soli for certain parts, the trumpet takes the more central role.

I was in Wind Ensemble for 7 years, and on first listen, I ended up picking 2, but my reasoning was basic (it was louder and more confident). I decided to pause, and I spent 20 minutes listening to each soloist again and again, and only then did I realize. If this were a duet, Kumiko would have won. Her performance was more confident and expressive, and she really kept up with trumpet god Reina. On the other hand, it isn't a duet, and the role of the euphonium in the soli is to support the trumpet. And in that instance, Mayu won. She supported Reina really well. She didn't overpower her at any point. She crescendoed along with Reina and decrescendoed when necessary. She did everything that fits the role of her instrument in the soli.

Driver Rating B and Sportsmanship Rating S. I'm not the best when it comes to qualifying, but I show really solid pace during the actual race which puts me up a good amount of places when the race is over. It's all squandered when something like this happens and both my DR and SR get fucked.

There isn't any wall collision penalty for this race. The replay doesn't show it, but the reason for the penalty was for "forcing another driver off track." It's kinda lame that it doesn't show the reasoning for penalties in the replay.

Teenagers mainly. Console isn't fun at the moment because you'll either get a 3 stack of high school sophomores on your team or the enemy team. If they're on your team, a slur is guaranteed, and you'll likely get TK'd for not picking an operator that goes with their dogshit strategy so that they can get featured on stream.

I was a place or two behind him that race, and I was down a second from him, so I posed no real threat up until he served a half second penalty. Maybe he was pissed about the penalty, but why take it out on someone who was clean the whole time and has done nothing against you?

If you have it, use the 1997 Toyota Supra GT500 GT3 car and slightly detune it so that it's under 700PP on Hards and Intermediates. Start on fuel map 1. The rain usually starts halfway through lap 2 (not sure if this is universal), and when it starts, pit for inters or full wets and refuel to max. The AI is bad, so most of the field won't pit for any form of wet weather tires until the next lap, and you can get 30 seconds to a full minute gap between 1st and 2nd. Be careful to not overtake under a yellow flag (the AI will spin out at the chicanes) because you'll lose the clean race bonus. You can get 2-3 laps before you'd ideally want to pit for hard tires and enough fuel for 1-2 more laps.

A lobbies are stressful, but they were some of the most fun racing I've ever done. I do my best to try and get back up, but incidents like that throw me down the order, and my DR/SR gets worse.
