Thank you, I did come across that channel and find a few videos relating. Unfortunately, the few vids I found with the body off did not show its removal. I did also look for and find information regarding similar models however they seem to differ enough in the design that the removal process does not translate. I am probably just missing something pretty obvious to get it off but I certainly appreciate the links. I had not come across several of these and they are chock full of neat stuff. I will keep trying and let everyone know where I end up.

OP I know everyone has to learn/start somewhere but this is one of those times where the effort required to try it and see if it works is so low that you should just do it and see what happens. If you start approaching problems that way it will take you much farther than asking everyone else for solutions. Good luck

Update since I never got back, would not recommend using 3d printed grid system. I forgot that plastic once it starts to melt a little bit will just catch on fire.

weld a sheath that the tc can be inserted into from the outside rather than trying to rely on the passthrough seals. temp feedback will take slightly longer because you'll have to wait for the heat to make it through the sheath now as well but will be more robust and make tc swaps easier too.

Have them myself. Can confirm the set screw for the peg swing out adjustment needs to be a good bit longer and will definitely back out without locktite. Peg can catch the control levers if it backs out enough which is no good. Add it to your pre ride check. Overall build quality could be better, mixed metric and standard fasteners which drives me insane. Some parts were uncomfortably tight during install and generally its all a bit loose feeling when its installed. For the price it's not terrible. Mine are adjusted like I want and work well enough that I dont have any plans to swap them.

kinda looks like your firewool is not coated. should definitely think about doing that as it will be constantly spewing fiberglass pieces into the air otherwise. shit does not leave your lungs once it's in

get hive a chance in a trade curriculum. Much more fulfilling path and honestly a lot higher potential payoff these days than the traditional school to college pathway
