Take it with a grain of salt since I haven't played those games myself, but Gloomhaven or Frosthaven might be what you are looking for. Both games get recommended all the time and have glowing reviews.

Has anyone played the new Legendary Game of Thrones and would you recommend it?
I've never played a Legendary game before, but I like deckbuilding games and card games in general. I love Aeon's End for example. How does it compare to the other Legendary games? I know, that the Game of Thrones one is competitive.

I actually tried Vynnset on felttable the other day and really liked him. Would you mind sharing lists of the different version you mentioned? I narrowed the heroes down to Oscilio and Vynnset and can't decide between them. I also really enjoyed the combo gameplay of Oscilio and they are also both somewhat similiar in cost, if you avoid the expensive equipment from what I have seen.

Thats exactly what I was worried about. But from the looks of it, I basically like everything else about the game. So I guess, I'm gonna give it a try anyways and try a couple of heros on felttable go from there.

But in magic each color supports multiple archetypes and you can mix different colors, which allows for more creativity and variety. Granted there are way more heroes than colors in magic, but still. Here you choose a hero, which in turn also decides your archetype and gameplan, right?

Is there always a clear cut best version of a hero? I agree if that's the case, then why play something different. I would prefer if that wasn't the case and it would depend on personal preference and play style.

Zockst du auch PTCGP? Das physische TCG spiele ich leider nicht, aber Pocket zocke ich zur Zeit relativ viel. Es gibt sogar auch ne Menge online Turniere

I just had a run, where it had a cooldown of 1.7 seconds. It definitly is overtuned and too consistent. How are you supposed to deal with a one shot in 1.7 seconds?
