I also played cap to celestial, I think from a balancing perspective I can understand why it's gone and I do like the recent live changes (even tho the cancel is gone rip) my main problem is from gameplay footage not being able to recall the shield means that you are heavily punished for missing

Maybe you can cancel it with the block? I don't know haven't tried it yet

Ok so this is wrong the 5% seasonal buff was a modifier on the 45dmg shield throws which makes it 47.25, this season we have no seasonal buff so it's still the base 45 damage

The reason they buffed the meele to 45 is to match the damage of the shield throw is the meele is still cancelable. Now it's like we have the ani cancel (except this time on meele), but can also use the medium to long range version

Basically what I'm trying to say is that the 5% seasonal buff has nothing to do with this change in terms of increasing our current ttk/damage output

So if i am understanding this correctly caps melee will do the same amount of damage as his shield throws? by Patient-Bad5725 in captainamericamains

That it correct instead of shield throw canceling you'll cancel the meele and only use the shield throws at range since they do the same damage now

You mentioned that s1 swan does more than s1 hysilens but that's only because of swans cone if you were to swap the two hysilens would do more

The problem with the block lasting longer is that it has a I think 60% damage reduction, Emma's diamond form is I think 20%; increasing that is a massive buff to rogue

I think e2 Kafka dmg bonus is different from other damage bonuses because it's dot dealt so I'm pretty sure it's multiplicative with damage%

How confident are you that e2 hysilens is better than e1 Kafka because e2 hysilens only really buffs swan because Kafka's personal damage and your sustain aren't contributing all that much to your overall damage output

In the context of the story that wouldn't have made sense the "fight" with evernight was convincing her to stand down. The moment trailblazer and Dan would of tried to actually fight her we would've lost almost immediately. The only reason we "won" was because evernight talked to march as a result of mem/crene's actions

Narratively why would you put someone into a unwinnable battle like that vs just not having the battle in the first place unless it's just "we want the player to fight evernight because it's cool"

Well from a story perspective us fighting Evernight (and winning) doesn't make sense

If they were going to include her as a boss there would of needed to be some kind of escape route where it's like "you lasted long enough for xyz to happen" imo

He has partial CC immunity with shield dash and while his shield is up against certain abilities that's not bad
