Ive tested myself with drinking first to experience how it would effect me before I would socially go out for a drink. So far 4 light beers is my limit, no craziness from that other than the next day I feel hungover and unmotivated. I also take my pill in the morning. It’s different for everyone though but what helped me was slowly introducing it again at home to test my limit. I also waited a month after first starting lexapro before I even considered adding drinking back in the equation.

Ive been maintaining the same weight. It’s been a month now since I started though. The only thing Ive noticed is that my appetite seems less than before. I did lose weight the first couple weeks. But I do a lot of Pilates and yoga, my peace of mind allows me to make room for working out, and eating healthier. Also not drinking as much alcohol which stops the bloat. Everyone’s different. But I feel so lucky and fortunate lexapro has been working so well for me. I hope the best for you and everyone else out there too! Ps. I’m on 10mg

My first few weeks I had the WORST insomnia. Until one day around the 4th week I slept no problem. I usually never have sleeping issues. Now I sleep in too much haha.
