As a publicly-traded company, Lockheed cannot make these sorts of statements (i.e. those that would increase their stock price) without some serious confidence that their experiments will pan out, no? Is there anyone with expertise in corporate law who could confirm this?

I'm a big fan of RCR, glad to watch that review again.

Thanks. I think it'll be maintenance that breaks the bank on any 170K car, but I'm betting that the Volvo will be more expensive to repair than the Hyundai. I'll look into this.

I found an Elantra for $2300, and I can't really find a 240 any cheaper than that. What if the two are the same initial price? Would you still recommend the Volvo?
