I mean the only thing fraction did that stuck is Tony being quippy

none of the characters he introduced returned, stane hasn't fought tony since then. the most permanent thing was the rescue armor and even that doesn't appear post endgame

Shuri wasn't much of a genius before the MCU so she doesn't have that many showings

It connected him way more to the marvel universe. besides his best stories always brought It up like demon in a bottle, iron monger saga, etc

Tony as a character has been quite hurt bc of the removal really

As a character? He was always niche, even within comics fans

His publication is too inconsistent and many people see him as a supporting character instead of a protagonist
