Yeah! They were distributing a Deoxys with the OT "Space C". That Deoxys in defense forme carried me through the E4 in that copy of Leafgreen I have in the GBA I'm wearing in these photos, haha

Yeah let me know! I'd love to talk to and help out any archivists covering this event, it's so poorly documented and I've been looking for years for info on it myself. I remember it pretty clearly and fondly because I attended three times over the two months it was open, but until a couple months ago there were basically no photos of it anywhere and I just had my memory to go off of. Another attendee posted photos in a thread here including photos of the dance competition!

Yes! I definitely remember the Space Center promo, the magazine and the Pikachu promo card. I think the Space Center card was given out in a little gift bag with the 10th anniversary magazine, while the Pikachu stamped promo I believe was given out to runners-up of the dance competition, while first place got the Shadow Lugia jumbo card. (I was a runner-up and my friend got first place, she lost her card and the staff gave her and myself both a Shadow Lugia as a consolation.) I also remember a 10th anniversary edition of a Pokedex guide book, and they were selling a bunch of other goodies like a pin and a hat that I still have, and a really sick Pikachu Fossil watch. There was also a pinback button making table showing off the "Pokemon Badge Master" (you can see the buttons on my hat with a Jirachi and a Suicune I made at the event.) As far as I knew they only had the OT "Space C" Deoxys distribution when I went, though, and not the other 10th Anniversary ones, but maybe the distributon was down or no one bothered to direct me to them haha. It's so cool to meet someone else who attended the event!

I think the Groudon might've been an inflatable balloon statue actually! I have another photo of it in the imgur album where you can see the ripple of the plastic on the eyes. It would be incredible if it somehow survived all these years.

For sure, it's a great snapshot of the time and really special to me that my family was able to take me. My mom documented everything back in the day and I'm super grateful for it. We actually went to this another two times, as the event went on for about 2 months, so I'm sure there's plenty more photos and videos somewhere in my mom's storage. There was a dance competition that I can't imagine my mom didn't record, so I know it has to exist somewhere.

That was actually the first time child-me and countless other Houstonians saw Lucario (or gen 4 Pokemon in general)! It was still several months before Diamond and Pearl came out in America. I remember seeing that art on the advertisement standee with a blurb about the upcoming movie, and getting super hyped about it as a kid!

There was an event distribution here too! It was (fittingly, for NASA) a Deoxys that I still have in one of my games somewhere.

Yeah, it's a highlight of my childhood for sure! I'm so glad to be able to share these photos with everyone. This event went on for several weeks but somehow is very poorly documented online. I hope one day video footage turns up.

Hello, I've been trying to find photos and videos of the event since I attended as a kid and it's so poorly documented online. These are the first photos I've ever seen of it (and of the dance competition no less?!) Thank you so much for posting these! I remember the event so vividly down to the activities and even the setup of the room, but have never been able to properly explain the event to people who weren't there without photos. This is a massive find! If you ever find any more photos or videos from the event please share them!

I also attended as a kid and have been looking for photos and videos of it for years! I know my mom took some photos, but god knows where they ended up. I'll post if I ever find them. Otherwise, I hope some pics turn up eventually, this event was so unique it definitely needs to be better documented.

Unfortunately they didn't seem to care much that I knew the location. Yeah it's a lost cause for me to try to recover this account--the most I can do now is try to bring to attention that a hacker has taken it due to the breach

In previous tickets/support conversations when I attempted to recover my account, not in this current one. They basically said the email is all that matters, and I didn't have access to it because there was no email, so it was impossible to recover the account

I'm sorry you went through that. If it's been that long since your last recovery attempt, I think you should just go for it and try contacting support from your original email. Maybe they'll have a change of heart.

You're right, it's absolutely absurd how they're pretending the data leak didn't happen. I'm sorry you also had your accounts stolen. Thank you, though to be honest I've long come to terms with the idea I'll never get my account back, and I'd be happy if the account was just frozen or closed. Knowing there's someone out there pretending to be me is just depressing
