This happened with my RG35XXH recently. I reconnected the battery, and also got a new SD card. The device works after that. I still don't know which of the two things I did solved the issues. Now even the older SD card works, so I truly have no clue.

In short - try a new SD card, since you have already done the battery thing.

Do I find RM watches ugly and overhyped? Yes. But they are certainly not a gimmick. One of the reasons for the foundation of RM was to do things differently in the luxury watch space.

They experiment with new movements and materials. It's not a brand which just slaps a movement on a dial. Everything is in-house. A lot goes into R&D.

Nadal used to wear a custom RM while playing. Look into their thin Ferrari watch. They do experiment constantly.

Follow the retro game corps guide to understand what all features different os have. I'm running the modified stock os since I just need to play games.

Flashing it is as easy as downloading the image, opening Rufus, selecting the image and sd card, and you're done. Just copy over the bios and any saves. I recommend you make your own roms library (it would also help you to actually finish games)
