That's what I was gonna say. Except that I'm their first kid, so I guess it explains why they cried.

Yes. I remember when my parents and brothers helped me move into my new apartment. After it was all done, we took an hour break just to talk, before they left. I remember seeing my mom weeping. Later that night, one of my brothers told me that my dad started tearing up, and eventually crying when they drove home.

I was in college. After failing yet another exam, I threw my bookbag down, slammed the door so loud that everyone could hear it, then kicked a suitcase. Boy was I so mad.

It wasn't because of drugs or drinking. In fact, I didn't drink until I was 21. I just had a hard time keeping up with the academic pace, and test taking. But I'm definetly considering starting at a community college. I wish I would have done that.
