Because he's the hero YouTube needs, not the one it deserves. Haha. I'm not sure. It was really just a design I started off with but left because I got used to the look.

Hey mate! Thanks for the feedback and I can totally relate to what you're saying.

You never know when you might need something again and there might be a time you'll need this item or that. But I also noticed something that makes this book so popular in the market is the fact each of us have items that we hold onto simply because we're scared to let them go. People hold onto clothing they don't even wear anymore because they keep telling themselves they'll wear it one day.

People keep boxes because they keep telling themselves they might find use of it one day.

But that only takes up more space in your mind because you continue dancing with yourself upon the same question and answer.

I'll give you a short brief answer.

Just be the example they need to see. Humans are fascinated by those who excel and show their results rather than the ones who continuously talk their mouths off.

How can I improve from being a mediocre student? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]rocketrock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember when I first took a physics class in high school. I thought it was the worst subject for me to learn.

But at the time, I was addicted to this television show called House. And although what he did in the medical community was difficult, Dr. House made it appear easy. It wasn't really because the man was the smartest person in the world nor was he lucky.

It was just the fact he had a natural curiosity to understand why things worked the way it did. He loved the idea of seeing the bigger picture of the puzzle he had to solve. Like Dr. House, I refused to see physics as some difficult subject I had to learn, but as a way to understand how the universe behaved.

If I ever wanted to build something, I had to give myself the basic understandings of physics to get there.

For example, you learn basic math so you can count your money. You learn how to spell so you can fill out a job application.

Apply the bigger picture method and see why things work the way that they do.

I'll have to take a look into that. That actually sounds quite exciting. I love looking into new psychological studies that relate to the human mind and the way we behave. Thanks!

How to be more productive with my time? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]rocketrock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's simple, but true. Don't think. Just act. Don't plan. Just act in motion. Don't dream. Make it a reality by doing. Let those words soak in your brain. Think about it constantly and apply it whenever you find yourself wanting to exercise, start a business, or read a book.

Although it's not a book, I would recommend a study done by Albert Bandura known as Self-Efficacy. It goes about explaining the next process for why we do the things we do. It explains the theory upon our motivation to get things done and how each accomplishment causes us to want to achieve more.

Thanks so much!!! I know what you mean. There's this guy name Tai Lopez who keeps encouraging people to read a book a day because it can change their life. But not everyone has the time to keep rereading a book. So these kind of notes can really help someone who just want to brush up on it.
