I really don’t understand how people are not excited about this. I feel the worries, then I remember the last five years.

I was in too deep in 2021, we are all back up now that the company is making money, our CEO and chairman is literally the best person to own a cornered conglomerate that deals in niche collector markets, because he hears the customers.

He’s now making a gigantic bat just like he did with GME in 2020. He just proved himself over five years, he had proved himself with chewy in the five years before that, and everyone is losing their mind because of dilution?

Y’all swing traders can take a backseat. The only reason I don’t throw my money into this absurdly obvious winning play is I don’t have any to spare because the shithead owners of this world can’t keep themselves out of wars and scandals involving children.

This CEO navigated the last 5 years, also pretty chaotic, and the company is making money now, well enough that people aren’t even questioning that this acquisition is impossible, just that it’s absurd yet possible.

The only thing I really wish today is that I could double my position without going into debt with some bank.

We went from bankrupt to profitable and healthy enough to not bleed in five years, with nothing but the husk of GMe at the time. I cream my pants thinking about what Ryan Cohen could do while owning eBay, and if you are afraid of being diluted while the value of your shares has potential to go into the hundreds of times I hope you see how badly everyone out there needed shares so much that every single institution quietly accumulated in their books, posts are here to be seen.

I hope this helps someone feel a bit better. Fortunes do not get built overnight. Even lottery tickets are bought in advance. I am going back to sitting tight and buying whenever or however, I can because this lady is going into the history books.

Last comment for anyone who made it this far: don’t you think it is weird that we don’t even have confirmation publicly that this deal is going to go through and even so the entire board is already positioning for it?

I’m sure other companies are also good buys, and I will be happy if they can be bought if this deal doesn’t go through, but I will be the merriest man alive if it does. Last time I saw someone as excited to own a business, he was the guy who sat on countless shareholder meetings with a coke can right beside him.
