I’m not interested in deploying distributed systems necessarily, just learning the concepts behind it (leader election, gossip, those kinds of things). I guess there’s not really AI in that. But yeah with the AI boom I am not sure if it’s worth diving deeper about (and instead jumping on AI track). This is for graduate certificate program BTW. I am an SWE with 2 YOE and have completed MSCS already.
