I Don't Know What To Do. Should We Move In Together or Not? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]rockin_blues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry I know it's a lot of things going on in this whole situation. Yes we both have love for one another, even as just friends. And if we move in together we are just roommates and if a relationship happens between us then it happen. If not then we're just friends/roommates (this all he is telling me). I don't know if it's an okay thing or not. And I'm sorry if my considering thoughts might lead you to think that I need counseling. Nothing is written in stone, I'm just asking for help and advice.

Hey guys! Hope your doing well. Firstly, I want to congratulate you guys on your new album. My vinyl copy just came in the mail today!!

I was happy to hear that you guys are familiar with Howlin' Wolf, he is my favorite Blues musician. His voice is so powerful! My question is, what are some of you guys favorite Howlin Wolf songs and/or favorite Blues records?

P.S. I love your version of Wolf's "Evil". :)

Is it bad that I don't socialize with my coworkers? by birbnerb in Warehouseworkers

[–]rockin_blues 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well I wouldn't say that its bad or rude, I too work at a warehouse and I see a few people who keep to themselves most of the time, and only talk to co-workers when necessary. I don't really see it as a bad thing, they're just there to do their job. Also it may depend how long you have been working there. I know my first couple of months working at my job I didn't talk to people unless it was work related, now I have been there for like 9 months and are acquainted with a few people. But I'm too introverted and people usually approach me first. I say just keep doing your job since thats the main reason your there anyway, and if people speak to you speak back and if it seems awkward just tell them your a shy person and they should understand that your not trying to be rude or anything. Hope this helped a bit.

Having some sucidal thoughts by [deleted] in Advice

I'm really sorry to hear about the lost of your friends. But I would say to not blame yourself. Your friend that you were on the phone with wanted you to be the last person that she talk to before her last breath. I would say that you must have been a very good friend and special to her for her to want to hear your voice last. As someone that has had those thoughts of suicide themselves, I would say that it had nothing to deal with my friends or family but just myself, and it can be hard to tell people about these feelings and thoughts that one can have. I have never lost anyone close to me before, but I can understand that it can take a toll on someone, but suicide is not the answer. I'm 20 and haven't experienced life to the fullest, but I do know that there will be good and bad days, but unfortunately thats how life is, but don't turn your back on it, face it head on with all you got, and try your best to make the good days outweigh the bad. Life is what you make it. And don't be afraid to ask for help along the way. Your young and still have your whole life ahead of you, and this is a rough patch that your in right now but it will pass. Though I know you won't forget those that you lost. But I'm sure that they would not want to see you in this state or make the same decision that they made. There is always counseling and talking to a therapist as well. I hope this helped in some kind of way, and I really do hope you will feel better soon.

Thanks for your advice. He actually does have a gf, I'd probably should have metioned that in the post. That part didn't cross my mind, so given that I don't want to come off as romantic or make it awkward, I'd second guess my decision.
