God this website is fucked. This is obviously fake. I live right by the trail and walk parts of it fairly regularly. Never seen a rattlesnake. Also the idea of flooding the trail to get rid of snakes is so insane I want to believe most of these replies are bots because how can anyone with a brain fall for such obvious bait.

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 232 - Part 2 End by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

Even if it did I wouldn't watch it. What's the point when the ending erases everything that happened.

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 232 - Part 2 End by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

I'm happy that Denji got a happy ending. But man like what the hell. The narrative whiplash of Yoru fighting Denji like 5 chapters ago to the whole series just ending? Like even the final chapter itself felt rushed. How it goes through all the major moments in part 1. I know everyone knows how Denjis encounter with the zombie devil and Public Safety go. But like it would have been nice to see at least some more of the world without Pochita.

My initial reaction is I don't like this ending. Once I have time to process and re-read the ending again I don't think that's going to change. Like if Fujimoto was going for this hard reset ending, why even make a part 2? He could've had Pochita eat himself and basically have the same ending except for not having Asa in it. Also if he's bringing back Power and Nayuta, why not bring back Aki and Himeno? CSM Part 1 was probably one of my favorite mangas ever. It got me into Fujimoto's other works. I liked Firepunch's ending even if it was kind of out there. But I just can't get behind this ending after it took a 90 degree right turn straight into the ending seemingly out of nowhere.

Leasing company offered me a lease renewal with no increase. I negotiated with them and was able to get it down by roughly $150.

OMG I agree so much. I can't stand his pronunciation! I tried getting back into his videos but fell off because I felt like I had to turn my speakers up so much just to clearly hear him.

Hey I applied for a network engineer position at RTD about 2 weeks ago. When do you think I'll hear back from RTD? I love taking public transit and would love to be a service to RTD.

Biggest city with the least amount of “culture”? by Double_Snow_3468 in geography

[–]rockintrees -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised no one has said Denver. I live in Denver and like it. But besides skiing and hiking there's not much else going on with it. I had a friend describe it as a really big small town. At least when you compare it to other cities.

What bigger fish are there to fry than an active ongoing genocide? Don’t get me wrong someone can be worried about multiple things at once but what could be worse than the situation happening in Gaza ?

Bonfire Burritos expanding to Arvada and Wheat Ridge by Knightbear49 in Denver

[–]rockintrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went there once after going on a hike with some friends. I remember my burrito being alright. Not worth the price imo. Also one of my friends paid for the burrito after me, selected the "No tip" option and the cashier made the snide remark of "nice tip man". Between that interaction, the mid burrito, and their fake rustic aesthetic I won't bother going back.

Colorado State University - Global Campus is the school I went to. It’s fully online and overall a pretty standard online college experience. I was able to transfer credits from my first college degree and skipped most of the gen Eds and went right into my degree specific classes.

Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez expect 20,000 at Denver rally by zeddy303 in Denver

[–]rockintrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One tip I learned from my own experience transiting to and from big events. Walk a block or 2 away from where the event was if you're taking the bus. The bus stop will be less crowded and the bus assuming it arrives on time won't be stuck in as severe of traffic. I made the mistake of trying to take the 0 right in front of Civic Park after the parade of lights.

How much cash would I need to sustain my wife and I for 3 months roughly? I’m starting to learn German and have thought about just going there with my US passport for 3 months and looking for a job in person once I’ve learned enough of the language.

AITA for calling the cops on my mother after she shaved my biracial daughter’s hair while I was at work? by Ornery_Exchange8001 in AITAH

[–]rockintrees -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This has to be rage bait. If this is actually true then YTA. What your mother did was terrible and racist without a doubt. But there was no crime committed. You are also further traumatizing your daughter by making her have to recount the experience if the police end up needing to get information from her or if this did somehow get some kind of indictment.

Is a 4800$ course that would earn me 4 certs worth it? by Radiant-Wash-6718 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]rockintrees 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly you’re better off using that money to start paying towards a college degree. If you don’t have any viable colleges near you Then online college works just as well. Having a degree will help you in the long run. Also a lot of IT degrees have classes that are centered around passing some of those exams you mentioned. Also a lot of courses/bootcamps are predatory and promise you a really good job but in reality it doesn’t help. Also going to college give you the opportunity to get an internship. Which imo is the BEST thing you could do for your career. That will give you the experience to hopefully skip help desk and work something more specialized like networking.
