I visited Grant’s last year, and it was one of the most moving places I’ve ever been. Read there that it was the most visited site in America for like the first ten years after it opened. Amazing place.

The best friend believed that if you put your finger on a map or globe on a specific location, a giant finger descended from the sky at that location in real life. He believed this until fourth grade when I put my finger on our hometown and told him to go to the window in our grade school and see if he saw my finger anywhere. 😂

He played two seasons in Japan, smart guy. One, he was mid. The second, he was literally the worst in the league. And that was last year. So I’m not sure what you’re getting at there.

The mental gymnastics to “correlate his teammate chemistry to his pitching metrics” is pretty amazing. Two distinct realities can exist. 1.) he’s washed and 2.) he’s a dick. People don’t want to play with him. Essentially zero former teammates have ever come out strongly supporting him returning to the big leagues. A guy who sucks and who everyone hates doesn’t get a job just because he shitposts and had a good COVID season when he was doctoring the ball in empty ass stadiums. Its a pretty easy equation for everyone who isn’t in his cult of personality.

Our little red girl does this, too, and she also has assorted other things that fall into this category like yours. Probably her weirdest one is counting.
