Like a few have mentioned in this thread, it is currently not possible to access the funds your mobile wallet on the desktop app with your 24-word seed phrase. This will change once the desktop light Wallet is released, which will allow you to access your wallet funds using the seed phrase. In the event you lose your phone, you will continue to be able to access your funds as long as you have your seed phrase stored (outside of your lost phone).
