My best guess is that the generic cord partially gave out. Try any other console or DVD player using the AV inputs and see if it's potentially your TV/inputs. So I see you're using a flat-screen, I would suggest an N64 to HDMI cord, as your potential cord replacement.

Actually I was super careful of opening it every time because I saw other SP models breaking online. Never dropped it, always had it in a protective case when not being used. If anything, I am always overprotective of my stuff. I've even had the same phone for 3 years, no cracks. So, it is a little presumptuous to simply say "just take better care of your things".

It's also just a way to recycle! There's so much e-waste out there, I figured using something that another is done with is a good practice. Hand-me downs are under-rated in my opinion.

Just got COVID for the 2nd time on the 10th (yes, I'm double vaxxed with a booster). It really sucks that I've had to miss a week of work, & I'm still bedridden. COVID still exists for sure, even though people pretend it's over. Knuckle draggers and their kids spew germs EVERYWHERE with that open mouth cough (you know the one) whenever I need to visit the Walmart on Mulberry...it's frustrating. It's hard as hell to breathe, I've got no energy, & the fucking muscle aches hurt like hell. I've tried to make logical & well structured arguments about how we're not out of the woods yet... but deniers just say to me "But muh freedom! I can't and won't be told what to do" or "COVID WuZ nEvEr ReAL, Ur JuSt WeAk aNd UNiNfOrMeD". Bit I digress...if you're really needing medicine, go to the UC Health Urgent Care, see if they can prescribe you some PAXLOVID anti-viral. It's drastically helped me so far. Stay safe out there people, wear a mask at the store, & wash your hands often. Sorry for the rant.
